Ron Cozort entered the insurance industry in Texas in 1970. After working for companies such a Employers Insurance of Wausau and Crum & Forster, he joined the agency side of the industry in 1975 as manager for Consolidated Insurance Agency.
Allied Insurance Agency was formed in 1981. Ron bought Consolidated in 1988. In 1999, Ron bought Allied Insurance Agency and added it to his longtime book of business.
In 1995, Kevin Cozort entered the insurance industry on the company side with multinational Commerical Union Insurance Companies. He switched to the agency side in 2003, joining his dad at Allied Insurance Agency.
